About The Position

One (1) full time Ultrasound Sonographer position is available at Groves Memorial Community Hospital within our Diagnostic Imaging Department. This position is unionized with the OPSEU – Local 236. In this role, you will use your Ultrasound Technologist knowledge and skill to bring utmost quality care to all patients. Requirements

  • Graduate of a Canadian Accredited Ultrasound Training Program
  • Current Membership with the CMRTO and proof of professional liability insurance
  • Active member with Sonography Canada
  • Small parts, general, abdominal, obstetrical experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands
  • Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with many and varied internal and external individuals, groups, and agencies
  • Satisfactory performance and attendance required
  • Satisfactory Reference Checks required prior to start date
  • Must provide a Police Vulnerable Sector Check
  • Must complete a Pre-Employment Health Assessment prior to being hired

Nice To Haves

  • NT (Nuchal Translucency) certification is preferred
  • Vascular (Carotids etc) ABI exams and MSK Shoulders and Knees etc) experience is preferred or working towards
