About The Position
Fairfax Radiology Centers (FRC) - the largest radiology practice in Northern Virginia - is seeking a PRN Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer to support our Reston and Herndon imaging centers. In this role, you’ll provide high-quality ultrasound services in a collaborative outpatient setting. Your professionalism, empathy, and technical expertise will help ensure every patient feels supported and cared for during their visit. This PRN opportunity offers flexibility while keeping you connected to a supportive, patient-focused team.
Requirements
- RDMS certification required upon hire
- BLS certification required
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to adapt in a dynamic outpatient environment
Nice To Haves
- Breast ultrasound experience is a plus, but not required
- 1+ year of general ultrasound experience preferred - new graduates welcome
Responsibilities
- Perform general ultrasound exams, including: OB (1st trimester) GYN Abdominal Small parts
- Consistently acquire high-quality diagnostic images
- Deliver patient-centered care with professionalism and compassion
