Requirements
- A graduate of an accredited program with eligibility or registration through ARDMS (Required)
- BLS certification (Required)
- Detail-oriented with strong communication skills
- Able to adapt in urgent situations and maintain professionalism under pressure
- Dedicated to patient-centered care and collaboration across healthcare teams
- Physically able to stand for extended periods and assist with patient positioning and movement
Responsibilities
- Performing a range of ultrasound exams: abdominal, pelvic, obstetric, breast, and more
- Assisting with invasive procedures such as biopsies
- Educating and preparing patients for procedures while ensuring comfort, safety, and confidentiality
- Communicating effectively with medical staff and departments to coordinate patient care
- Maintaining clean, well-stocked, and fully operational equipment and exam rooms
- Supporting quality assurance and infection control procedures
- Documenting exams, billing, and clerical tasks related to the ultrasound department
