Depending on the work location, the Ultrasound Technologist may also manage daily operations of the sonographic laboratory, patient schedules, equipment maintenance, reporting equipment failures, and quality assessment. The sonographer is expected to uphold high medical ethics and continuously enhance their understanding of the field, diseases, and evolving procedures.
