About The Position
Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations across a wide patient population in a critical access hospital, including general, vascular, breast, OB/GYN, abdominal, and small parts imaging while ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years Ultrasound experience required
- ARDMS certification required
- ARRT certification required
- Vascular ultrasound experience required
- Breast ultrasound experience required
- BLS certification required or must obtain within 3 months
- Strong knowledge of ultrasound imaging procedures
- Ability to work independently in hospital setting
- Strong communication and patient care skills
Nice To Haves
- OB/GYN, Abdomen, and Small Parts experience
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Sciences preferred
- Prior hospital experience preferred
- First-time travelers considered
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams (General, Vascular, Breast, OB/GYN, Abdomen, Small Parts)
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment (Pixus Ultrasound, GE Logic 10)
- Review patient history and physician orders before procedures
- Prepare and educate patients for imaging studies
- Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams
- Follow infection control and safety protocols
- Participate in on-call coverage as required
