About The Position
US Heart and Vascular is in need of a Full Time Dual Sonographer to join our team at Heartplace in North Arlington. This role involves performing a variety of noninvasive vascular evaluations and cardiac studies, explaining procedures to patients, obtaining informed consent, and managing necessary insurance precertifications and EMR abstracting. Duties may evolve, and occasional travel between locations might be required. The position offers a chance to work in a premier cardiology practice focused on patient-centered care and professional growth.
Requirements
- Currently registered as a Cardiac Sonographer through ARDMS or CCI.
- Currently registered as a Vascular Sonographer or vascular registry eligible and completed by deadline set by the Company.
- Current CPR certification.
Responsibilities
- Performs 2-D Echo and Doppler studies.
- Performs Stress Echo studies.
- Responsible for performing a variety of noninvasive vascular evaluations.
- Explains procedures to patients and obtains informed consent from patient.
- Obtains insurance precertification for testing as necessary.
- Performs test result abstracting to EMR as necessary.
- May be required to move between locations as needed.
