About The Position
West Coast Wound and Skin Care is looking to hire a US Tech to be out in the field, driving within the Detroit area. The US Tech will be responsible for performing ultrasound on patients in their homes one day a week. Additional responsibilities include materials management, scribing, performing chart checks, and obtaining data/metrics to support financial analysis for expansion and growth.
Requirements
- Valid US Tech Certification
- Excellent customer service, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Strong awareness of medical terminology
- Strong desire for patient care
Nice To Haves
- 1-2 years of clinical management/medical experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Operating equipment
- Perform ultrasound on wound patients
- Image interpretation
- Patient interaction
- Documentation and reporting
- Order medical supplies
- Scribe for respective doctors
- Prepare patients for procedures
- Perform chart checks for evaluation of stalled wounds for existing patients
- Scribe for skin sweeps
- Make Initial Assessment calls
Benefits
- Guaranteed base pay of $384 per week
- $32 per patient visit for a minimum of 6 patients per day
- $32 per additional patient visit for any visits beyond the daily base
