About The Position

IVI-RMA in Lafayette, CO is seeking a Part-time Ultrasound Technician/Sonographer to join their team. This role is ideal for a recent ultrasound program graduate or an early-career sonographer looking to gain specialized experience in reproductive medicine. The position involves performing reproductive ultrasounds, assisting with fertility-related procedures, and providing exceptional patient care. The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for performing sonography appropriately and accurately to assist physician visualization and interpretation during gynecological procedures.

Requirements

Completion of formal Ultrasound training and certification
Current BLS Certification
2+ years of experience as an ultrasound technologist
Ability to effectively operate all pieces of equipment utilized within the scope of this job.
Proficient in computer programs including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in women's health or reproductive endocrinology and infertility

Responsibilities

Performs reproductive ultrasounds.
Assists with fertility-related procedures.
Provides exceptional patient care throughout the treatment process.
Collaborates with physicians, other medical providers, and patients by providing expert care and service for fertility treatments.
Establishes personal rapport with patients.
Provides explanations of procedures.
Performs detailed examinations of anatomy.
Performs bladder and uterus scans during embryo transfers and other medical procedures.
Assists with procedure set-up, following all sterile precautions.
