Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
- ARDMS certification (or registry-eligible) required
- Proficiency with ultrasound equipment and PACS systems
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Excellent patient communication and bedside manner skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative clinical team
Nice To Haves
- Previous clinical experience in ultrasound imaging preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations including abdominal, pelvic, vascular, small Parts and obstetric imaging
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal image quality
- Analyze sonographic images and relay findings to physicians and radiologists
- Document patient histories, exam results, and technical findings accurately in medical records
- Follow all safety, infection control, and HIPAA compliance protocols
- Collaborate with clinical staff to coordinate patient care and scheduling
