About The Position

Join Hillcrest Hospital South in Tulsa, Oklahoma, as a full-time, day-shift Ultrasound Tech. The Ultrasound Technologist supports patient care by performing quality ultrasound procedures. The role involves explaining procedures and monitoring patients’ safety and comfort during scans; operating ultrasound equipment to provide images and data for medical treatment and diagnosis; calibrating, maintaining, and troubleshooting equipment; evaluating ultrasound images for technical quality and exposure and transmitting them to PACS; and assisting Radiologists and other healthcare practitioners during interventional ultrasound procedures. Requirements

Must be registered or registry eligible with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
If registry eligible upon hire, must become registered within one year of hire.
Must maintain registry during employment.
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and before providing direct patient care.

One year or more of Ultrasound Tech experience.

Responsibilities
