About The Position
This position exists to provide ultrasound images and procedures to patients at a technical level. Operates ultrasound equipment, prepares patients exam rooms, maintains equipment, supplies and medications. Transports patients. Provides patient services using various imaging modalities for the successful accomplishment of hospital/departmental goals and objectives. Assist with orientation of new employees. Performs clerical, file room and patient charge duties; assists with department PI program.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of Sonography and ARDMS registered and/or eligible
- SPI Certification
- A working knowledge of ultrasound procedures
