Requirements
- Minimum of one year preferred as a Sonographer.
- Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, AAS degree preferred, and Graduation from an unaccredited Sonographer program or Graduation from an accredited Sonographer program.
- ARRT(R)(S) or ARDMS required within 12 months of hire For ACR Accredited sites at time of hire: ARRT(R)(S) or ARDMS
Responsibilities
- Performs US procedures using proper Radiologist protocols and standard workflows based on annual competencies.
- Practices safe patient care
- Performs proper equipment upkeep, including daily QA procedures
- Additional duties as assigned and warranted
- On Call shifts where applicable
- Oversee and instruct students in the clinical setting where applicable
