About The Position

Baptist Health Medical Group is seeking an Ultrasound Tech for the OBGYN department in the LaGrange, KY area. This is a full-time, first-shift position eligible for a $2500 sign-on bonus for new hires meeting eligibility criteria. The role involves coordinating healthcare services to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment, maintaining standards of care in Ultrasound sciences, and exercising professional judgment. The Ultrasound Tech will manage patient care, adjust daily operations, and contribute to staff competencies, schedules, and educational needs. For positions involving Maternal-Fetal Medicine physicians, nuchal translucency certification is preferred or must be obtained within the first year of employment. Proficiency is required in performing Biophysical Profile, Complete Obstetric Ultrasound, Limited Obstetric Ultrasound, Multiple Gestation Ultrasound, Transvaginal (cervical length) Ultrasound, and Pelvic Ultrasound.

Requirements

High School Diploma required.
Holds current credentials as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS).
Three (3) years of experience in scanning OB-GYN procedures.
Basic Life Support and other advanced training as appropriate.

Nice To Haves

Associates Degree from an OB-GYN Ultrasound program preferred (Certificate or Degree as long as registry eligible).
Nuchal translucency certification preferred (or obtained within the first year of employment) if position involves work with Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) physicians.

Responsibilities
