About The Position
St. Francis Medical Center is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform ultrasound examinations and produce technical and diagnostic scans for interpretation. The role includes positioning patients and equipment, producing appropriate recordings, and processing and transmitting images to PACS. The technologist must demonstrate competency in performing all ultrasound exams. St. Francis Medical Center is a comprehensive healthcare institution serving its community with diagnostic and treatment services across specialties including cardiovascular care, surgery, orthopedics, obstetrics, pediatrics, behavioral health, and emergency and trauma care. The hospital also provides education and outreach programs and is designated as a Comprehensive Stroke Center, STEMI Receiving Center, ED Approved for Pediatrics, Geriatric ED, Level III Neonatal ICU, and Level II Trauma Center.
Requirements
- Obtain and maintain RDMS (ARDMS) or S (ARRT) certification in at least one body or region within 90 days of hire.
- Graduate from an accredited ultrasound program, or hold the certification identified above and graduate within 90 days of hire.
- Hold a current BCLS (AHA) certificate.
- Have proficient computer skills.
