Lexington Ob/Gyn is seeking an Ultrasound Tech for a 32-hour per week position. The role involves coordinating the delivery of health care services to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients, establishing and maintaining standards of care in Ultrasound sciences, and exercising professional judgment. The position also involves assuring appropriate patient care management, adjusting daily operations to meet changing work environment needs, and addressing staff competencies, schedules, and educational needs. If working with Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) physicians, nuchal translucency certification is preferred or must be obtained within the first year of employment. The role requires proficiency in performing various studies including Biophysical Profile, Complete Obstetric Ultrasound, Limited Obstetric Ultrasound, Multiple Gestation Ultrasound, Transvaginal (cervical length) Ultrasound, and Pelvic Ultrasound.
