About The Position
Performs basic diagnostic ultrasound procedures under minimal supervision, as requested by a licensed physician. Exercises professional judgment in providing health care services to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups from newborn to elderly. May be multi-credentialed in sonography. Completes established competencies for the position within the designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of Diagnostic Sonography
- Must be registered with ARDMS or ARRT within 24 months of graduation (12 months of hire)
- BLS certified

Responsibilities
- Produces high quality diagnostic sonographs as prescribed by a licensed practitioner
- Assists with amnio procedure biopsies
- Exercises professional judgment in providing health care services, to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups from newborn to elderly
- Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period
- Performs basic diagnostic ultrasound procedures, as requested by a licensed physician
- Performs related duties as required
