About The Position

The Ultrasound Tech performs a variety of ultrasound examinations to assist physicians in diagnosing medical conditions and monitoring patient health. This is a full-time position for third shift, weekends only, with a 68-hour pay period.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Allied Health education program (diagnostic medical sonography, radiologic technology, respiratory therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, nursing) and 12 months of full-time clinical ultrasound/vascular experience
• Diploma or degree from an ultrasound/vascular program that is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or the Canadian Medical Association (CMA)
• Bachelor's degree (any major) and 12 months of full-time clinical ultrasound/vascular experience
• Bachelor's degree in sonography or vascular technology; or higher
• Registered or registry eligible by the American Registry of Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
• Completion of ARDMS Registry within six months of eligibility required
• BLS preferred upon hire, required within 90 days of hire

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience working as an Ultrasound Technologist in a hospital or medical imaging facility preferred
• Additional certification in specialized ultrasound modalities (e.g., abdominal, obstetric, vascular) preferred
