About The Position
Join UT Health East Texas Physicians as a full-time, day-shift Ultrasound Tech in Tyler, Texas. The role operates ultrasound equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic and/or invasive procedures as directed by a Radiologist. The patient population includes pediatric, adolescent, young- to middle-aged adult, and geriatric patients. UT Health East Texas Physicians has 90 primary and specialty care clinics and eight urgent care centers across the region and is affiliated with The University of Texas at Tyler School of Medicine.
Requirements
- Graduate of an ARDMS-approved Ultrasound program.
- Must be ARDMS registered or registry eligible within 120 days of hire.
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and before providing direct patient care.
- Knowledge of and ability to operate all ultrasound equipment and perform ultrasound-required exams.
