Lexington Ob/Gyn is seeking an Ultrasound Tech to coordinate the delivery of health care services to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role establishes and maintains standards of care in Ultrasound sciences, exercises professional judgment, and assures appropriate patient care management. The Ultrasound Tech will adjust daily operations to meet the needs of a changing work environment and will be involved with staff competencies, schedules, and educational needs. If the position involves work with Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) physicians, nuchal translucency certification is preferred or must be obtained within the first year of employment. The role requires proficiency in performing Biophysical Profile, Complete Obstetric Ultrasound, Limited Obstetric Ultrasound, Multiple Gestation Ultrasound, Transvaginal (cervical length) Ultrasound, and Pelvic Ultrasound.
