About The Position

Under the general supervision of the Imaging Director, the Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for the provision of ultrasonic procedures to patients according to physician orders. This role ensures high-quality imaging, patient safety, and quality care.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited or registered school of Radiology Technology or Ultrasound Technology.
• Completion of a training program in ultrasonic technology.
• Certified by the Texas Medical Board.

Nice To Haves

• Current registration with A.R.R.T. (American Registry of Radiologic Technologist).
• Ultrasound Registry RDMS preferred.
• Previous experience in a hospital environment.
• Registered Vascular Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Provide ultrasonic procedures to patients according to physician orders.
• Ensure high-quality imaging.
• Ensure patient safety and quality care.
• Cover onsite needs during technologist vacations.
• Provide call coverage, including at least one full weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) and at least one 16-hour overnight call per week (3 PM to 7 AM).
