About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Tech specializing in Vascular to join our team on a contract basis in Plainview, TX. This role involves performing a variety of non-invasive vascular ultrasound examinations to aid in physician interpretation and diagnosis. The ideal candidate will be proficient in operating ultrasound equipment, documenting findings, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience
• ARDMS or ARRT license
• BLS (AHA) certification

Responsibilities

• Perform non-invasive vascular ultrasound examinations of the arterial and venous systems of the upper and lower extremities, carotid arteries, abdominal vessels, and other vascular structures.
• Obtain high-quality diagnostic images and Doppler waveforms for physician interpretation.
• Evaluate blood flow and identify abnormalities such as stenosis, occlusions, aneurysms, and deep vein thrombosis (DVT).
• Prepare, position, and educate patients before and during procedures.
• Accurately document patient information and exam findings in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Maintain ultrasound equipment and perform routine quality assurance checks.
• Follow facility policies, infection prevention standards, and patient safety protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
