About The Position
Under the direction of a Radiologist and/or the Ultrasound lead Sonographer, performs Ultrasound procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed sound waves for radiologic diagnosis or intervention. Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required.
Requirements
- Graduate of accredited Ultrasound school or equivalent.
- ARDMS: Amer Reg Diagnostic Sonography
- BLS: Basic Life Support/CPR
