Requirements

• Exceptional communication and patient care skills
• Aptitude toward the team philosophy
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision
• Basic computer skills
• Sterile procedure
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Current ARDMS Certification in Ultrasound (If hired without a license, ARDMS or ARRT(S) or CCI certification is required within 24 months of obtaining position)

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic ultrasound exams according to physician orders.
• Provides correct patient identification, technique, education, instruction, and transportation, as necessary.
• Serves as preceptor for imaging procedures.
• Operates all imaging and Doppler/duplex equipment with proper technique.
• Meets all computer and documentation competencies.
