About The Position

Performs ultrasound procedures and assists in other areas while assuring proper care and maintenance of all equipment. Provides quality care within the scope of Ultrasound for pediatric thru geriatric patients, in a manner that is cost effective without compromising quality of care. Demonstrates good knowledge of principles and practices of procedural technique. Demonstrates knowledge of equipment, procedures and positions used for various procedures. Able to work under pressure and in situations that demand patience, tact, stamina and endurance. Projects a professional demeanor and appearance while maintaining the confidentiality of patients, physicians and workers with excellent customer service skills. Must be willing to take call for your position as assigned by manager. All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Demonstrates eligibility for employment in the U.S.
• Registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or registry eligible
• Must have BLS and renew every 2 years prior to expiration
• Ability to relate and work effectively with others
• Demonstrated skills in verbal and written English communications for safe and effective patient care and to meet documentation standards
• Willingness to participate in goal-setting and educational activities for own professional advancement
• Is aware of standards and performs in accordance with them

• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
