About The Position
This position requires the demonstration of competency to perform Ultrasound (US) procedures as required by the hospital. This includes, but is not limited to, all US and Echocardiogram positioning/procedures per departmental protocol, biopsies, Cidex Room procedures, proper disinfection/cleanliness of probes, equipment operation, and quality control tests. Familiarity with PACS, Putty, Carevue, OpenVista, and ARS is also expected.
Requirements
- Associates Degree in Applied Science.
- Meets the requirements for the Registry by the ARRT.
- Current New Jersey State License.
Responsibilities
- Perform US procedures including all US and Echocardiogram positioning/procedures per departmental protocol.
- Perform biopsies.
- Maintain proper disinfection/cleanliness of probes in the Cidex Room.
- Operate equipment and perform quality control tests.
- Utilize PACS, Putty, Carevue, OpenVista, and ARS.
