About The Position

Responsible for operating ultrasound-scanning equipment to make abdominal, vascular and / or obstetric images of the body. Positions and instructs the patient for imaging exams, adjusting and/or calibrating equipment as needed. Ensures all hospital mandated safety precautions are followed. Performs other duties as required.

Requirements

• Board certified with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
• RDMS (OB) and RVT (VT) Required.
• Healthcare Provider BLS required.
• 2 – 3 years of experience.
• Analytical and grammatical skills are necessary to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
• Must be fluent in spoken and written English.
• Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position.

Nice To Haves

• Major: Radiological science
• Supportive Course Work: Biology, anatomy and physiology
