Radiology / Cardiology - Ultrasound Tech - General
About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Tech – General with at least 1 year of recent experience. This role is at a community hospital with 99 total staffed beds. The position requires proficiency in General and Vascular ultrasound studies, including abdomen, liver, gallbladder, pancreas, appendix, spleen, breast, carotid, arterial/venous duplex, Doppler, and upper/lower extremity vascular exams. Experience with GE, Philips, Siemens, SonoSite, and PACS is necessary. The role involves providing ultrasound services to adult patients in various settings including ED, ICU, and portable examinations.
Requirements
- 1 year of recent Ultrasound Tech experience.
- Vascular experience required.
- Adult, ED, ICU, and Portable Ultrasound experience.
- Experience with GE, Philips, Siemens, SonoSite, and PACS.
- Proficient in General and Vascular ultrasound studies.
- ARDMS certification required.
- BLS certification required.
Responsibilities
- Perform General and Vascular ultrasound studies including abdomen, liver, gallbladder, pancreas, appendix, spleen, breast, carotid, arterial/venous duplex, Doppler, and upper/lower extremity vascular exams.
- Provide ultrasound services to adult patients in ED, ICU, and portable settings.
- Float within scope to meet facility needs.
