About The Position
Ultrasound Tech – General / OB/GYN needed for a 28-week contract in Bronxville, NY. This position is for a Day Shift, Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, specializing in Radiology / Cardiology – Ultrasound Tech (General). Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Graduate of an approved one-year Ultrasound Program required
- ARRT (Sonography) or RDMS Certification required
- Strong OB/GYN ultrasound experience preferred
- Experience with anatomy and nuchal ultrasound scans required
- Experience with Voluson Ultrasound Unit (S8) preferred
- Experience with OBserver Reporting and Image Archiving software preferred
- EPIC EMR experience required
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations including OB and GYN studies
- Conduct anatomy scans, nuchal translucency scans, and routine gynecological imaging
- Operate Voluson Ultrasound Unit (S8) and OBserver Reporting and Image Archiving software
- Prepare patients for procedures and provide patient-centered care
- Maintain accurate imaging records and documentation within EPIC EMR
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams for timely diagnostics
- Follow facility safety, infection control, and imaging protocols
- Ensure accurate image acquisition and reporting for physician interpretation
