This role involves supervising a team of imaging professionals, managing daily operations, and ensuring high-quality patient care. The department is a 24/7 staffed facility serving emergency room patients, inpatients, outpatients, pediatric patients, and interventional procedures, with minimal vascular and breast imaging. The team utilizes Philips EPIQ Elite units, Trophon HLD, EPIC EMR, and PACS (with an upcoming upgrade to Visage).

Requirements

• Bachelors' degree or equivalent experience.
• 3 years of relevant experience.
• Current registry in one medical imaging modality.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certification through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of imaging professionals.
• Manage daily operations of the Ultrasound department.
• Ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Participate in a weekend call rotation.
• Oversee an average of 30-40 exams per day (Monday-Friday dayshift).
• Manage 13 direct reports.
• Ensure 24/7 department staffing.
