Responsible for the independent operation of the ultrasound equipment and for performing and communicating results of diagnostic findings to the provider along with assisting the provider with ultrasound guidance procedures. Demonstrates competence to provide developmentally appropriate care/treatment for the following patient population: Adolescent - 13 years to 17 years, Adult - 18 years to 65 years, Geriatric - over 65 years. Performs all requested sonographic examinations as ordered by the attending physician. Performs duties as required to ensure efficient and effective service to patients. Coordinates and works with other office staff to assure appropriate patient care is provided. Practices and encourages Service Excellence. Reviews images, inputs findings into electronic health records system and sends to physician for evaluation.
