About The Position
We are a fast-paced, growing heart and vascular clinic seeking a Sonographer. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and has a strong ability to multitask. As a Sonographer, you will perform all functions necessary to produce high-quality echocardiograms, stress echoes, and vascular studies.
Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D
- Current ARDMS, CCI, or registry eligible and pass the registry within one year of the date of hire
- Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program
- A valid driver’s license
- ACLS Certification
Nice To Haves
- 1-2 years of experience in the Cardiology field
- One (1) year of experience preferred as an ultrasound technologist. Cardiology experience preferred
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Deadline and detail-oriented
Responsibilities
- Able to provide direct patient care to patients in both the stable and acute care settings.
- Works with general supervision, structuring own work patterns within a general outline.
- Responsible for reporting interpretations to physicians when completed.
- Referring unusual situations or problems to the physician/supervisor
- Ability to accurately calculate in apothecary and metric systems for drug administration and document clinical information.
