About The Position
This role involves reviewing appointment schedules to optimize resource utilization (equipment and staff) for efficient patient and physician service. The Ultrasound/Sonographer II operates and maintains proficiency on all departmental Ultrasound equipment to ensure quality imaging. They perform patient procedures, utilizing appropriate scanning techniques and producing correctly labeled images.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
- Successfully completion of physics boards and abdominal boards through ARDMS.
- CPR Certified.
- Registered with ARDMS in Abdomen.
Nice To Haves
- Previous hospital experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Reviews appointment schedules and suggests changes for maximum resource utilization.
