About The Position
This is a full-time position for an Ultrasound/Sonographer II. The role involves reviewing appointment schedules and suggesting changes to maximize the use of available resources (equipment and staff) to ensure efficient patient and physician service. The sonographer will operate and maintain proficiency on all ultrasound equipment within the department to provide quality imaging. They will perform patient procedures, utilize appropriate scanning techniques, and ensure images are correctly labeled with the patient's name and identification number.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
- Successfully completion of physics boards and abdominal boards through ARDMS
- CPR Certified
- Registered with ARDMS in Abdomen

- Previous hospital experience preferred
