About The Position

At NorthBay Health, the OB Sonographer in the Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) clinic is responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations for high-risk obstetric patients. This role supports providers by obtaining detailed fetal imaging and ensuring accurate documentation. Responsibilities

• Performs high risk obstetric ultrasound examinations in accordance with established protocols.
• Conducts advanced imaging including anatomy scans, BPPs, Dopplers, and NT studies.
• Assists and instructs patients prior to and during examinations.
• Responsible for evaluating each study to ensure it meets required quality standards.
• Responsible for patient confidentiality, safety and well-being during examinations.
• Responsible for inspecting and cleaning equipment prior to and after each patient.
• Collaborates with MFM providers and OB care team.
• Reports all equipment failures and/or malfunctions to the Diagnostic Imaging outpatient supervisor.
• Reports all patient complaints and discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned
