About The Position

Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital has proudly served residents across Southeast Michigan since 1953. With 632 beds, Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital is a major teaching and research hospital and home to five residency programs and a cardiology fellowship in partnership with Wayne State University School of Medicine. Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital is verified as a Level II trauma center and accredited by the Joint Commission as a primary stroke center. The hospital is also known for clinical excellence and innovation in the fields of orthopedics, neurosciences, women’s health, heart and vascular and cancer care. Under the site designate leader, and according to established policies and procedures, performs accurate and efficient Ultrasound exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment, independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. Requirements

• Associate's degree or equivalent
• Graduate of Diagnostic Ultrasound Program or equivalent
• Minimal experience as gained at student level
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire
• CRT-Sonographer (S) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography EXCLUDE Cardiac 1 Year
• CRT-Breast Sonographer (BS) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography EXCLUDES Cardiac, General, Vascular 1 Year
• CRT-Abdomen (AB) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography EXCLUDES Cardiac EXCLUDES Vascular 1 Year
• CRT-Ob/Gyn (OB) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography EXCLUDES Cardiac EXCLUDES Vascular 1 Year
• CRT-Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, Registered (RDCS) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Cardiac 1 Year
• CRT-Cardiac Sonographer, Registered (RCS) - Cardiac 1 Year
• CRT-Vascular Technologist (VT) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Within 1 year of hire required for Vascular Department
