The Ultra Web Operator role at our Frankfort, IN location involves working collaboratively to assemble filtration products in an innovative, team-oriented environment. This is a 3rd shift on-site position, with hours from 10:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. Donaldson is committed to solving the world’s most complex filtration challenges. Together, we make cool things. Requirements

  • Exhibit mechanical aptitude
  • Equipment such as gages, calipers, indicators, scales, and tape measures
  • Ability to use computer and understand basic math principles
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds from a squat level lift from the floor to the waist, a shoulder level lift to 60 inches at 35 pounds, a horizontal lift and carry for 10 feet, lift up to 50 pounds with the assistance of another employee
  • A combination of education and experience, generally acquired through the attainment of a high school diploma, or equivalent plus a minimum of two years of trade school or qualified work experience

Responsibilities

  • Recognize and understand the operations and machines involved with the media process
  • Produce media within acceptable quality and quantity standards as stated in the prints and/or route sheets
  • Perform quality checks and tests as assigned
  • Follow first piece and set-up sheets, Monitoring production rates
  • Complete all applicable paperwork - scrap report, media usage sheet, media testing sheet, oil runs, etc.
  • Performs machine change over
  • Perform preventative maintenance on all assigned equipment
  • Comply with all DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and procedures
  • Use all designated Personal Protective Equipment as required
