About The Position
Language Trainers is seeking a Ukrainian language teacher for a client in Santa Monica, CA. This is a freelance, part-time, one-to-one business course for a beginner student, aged 56-64. The course consists of 22 hours, spread over 11 two-hour sessions. Sessions will take place at the student's home or a nearby location in Santa Monica, CA 90405. The schedule is flexible, once to twice per week, either on weekdays after 2 PM or weekend mornings. The student's motivation for learning Ukrainian is to interact with Ukrainian colleagues. The position starts ASAP.
Requirements
- Native Ukrainian speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification.
- Experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter.
- Valid work permit/visa.
- Live within 20 miles of Santa Monica, CA 90405.
- Ability to provide CV with references.
- Provide availability.
- Provide earliest possible start date.
Responsibilities
- Provide customized language training to a beginner student.
- Conduct one-to-one business-focused Ukrainian language sessions.
- Travel to the student's home or a nearby location in Santa Monica, CA 90405 for sessions.
- Adapt schedule to meet student needs, within the specified availability (weekdays after 2 PM or weekend mornings).
