About The Position

At Rincon Research Corporation, our primary business is innovating, developing, and fielding digital signal processing (DSP) products and services for the United States Defense and Intelligence Communities in support of national security. Rincon Research Corporation (RRC), an employee-owned company, is seeking an UI/UX Engineer to work in a multi-disciplinary R&D environment with similarly motivated electrical engineers, mathematicians, computer scientists, and analysts who are collectively responsible for creating custom digital signal processing solutions and leveraging them to make an operational mission impact. Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
• Proficiency in coding languages for creating user interfaces
• Demonstrated proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript
• Demonstrated proficiency in C++
• Past successful experience in a UI/UX or related role
• In-depth knowledge of user interface models, application design, and website functionality
• Ability to assimilate into important development efforts and effectively collaborate to meet design goals
• Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI security clearance
• US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED

Nice To Haves

• Current Top Secret Clearance
• Master Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
• Five or more years in Department of Defense development efforts

Responsibilities

• Create visually appealing and functional interfaces that excite users
• Interface with developers and engineers to turn concepts and required functionality into UI/UX design
• Implement designs into interfaces through coding and programming to deliver products that meet requirements with functional design
• Advise teammates regarding development timelines and solutions to any derived limitations
