UI/UX Designer Part Time
About The Position
We are building one of the fastest-growing healthcare job platforms in the United States, connecting healthcare professionals with employers nationwide. Our mission is to deliver an intuitive, modern, and engaging experience for job seekers, recruiters, and healthcare organizations. We're looking for a talented UI/UX Designer who is passionate about creating exceptional digital experiences and has experience designing complex web applications, online marketplaces, or job boards. As our UI/UX Designer, you will own the user experience across our healthcare job platform. You'll collaborate closely with product managers, developers, marketing, and leadership to create intuitive workflows that improve engagement, increase employer conversions, and make it easier for healthcare professionals to find their next career opportunity. You'll help shape everything from job search and application flows to employer dashboards, candidate profiles, messaging, onboarding, and mobile experiences.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional UI/UX design experience.
- Strong portfolio showcasing modern web application or SaaS design.
- Expert proficiency with Figma.
- Experience creating wireframes, interactive prototypes, and design systems.
- Strong understanding of responsive and mobile-first design principles.
- Knowledge of accessibility (WCAG) best practices.
- Experience collaborating with developers in Agile environments.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience improving user engagement and conversion rates through UX optimization.
- Familiarity with AI-powered product features and conversational interfaces.
- Experience designing for enterprise or B2B SaaS applications.
- Knowledge of SEO-friendly UX and information architecture.
Responsibilities
- Design intuitive and visually engaging user interfaces for our healthcare job platform.
- Conduct user research and translate insights into user-centered design solutions.
- Create user flows, wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
- Improve the experience for: Healthcare job seekers, Employers and recruiters, Candidate applications, Employer registration and job posting, Search and filtering, Candidate profiles, Employer dashboards.
- Design responsive experiences for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
- Work closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
- Maintain and evolve our design system and UI component library.
- Collaborate with marketing to improve landing pages and conversion rates.
- Use analytics and user feedback to optimize usability and engagement.
- Stay current on UI/UX trends, accessibility standards, and design best practices.
