About The Position

AdaptX is searching for a User Interface/Frontend Software Engineer. This person will directly impact the success of our products through significant contributions on the Engineering team. They will have a strong sense of customer advocacy, be highly collaborative, think critically and creatively, and share their perspectives in formal and informal settings. They will thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment.

Requirements

• 4 or more years of software development experience, building web-based user interfaces
• Experience with TypeScript and/or JavaScript
• Demonstrated experience with Git, Continuous Integration and Delivery, and monitoring solutions
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to seek clarification and making design choices as appropriate
• Naturally curious and comfortable using data to drive decisions
• Team-oriented and collaborative
• Strong ability to operate within a dynamic, fast-paced, and sometimes ambiguous environment
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across all levels of an organization
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Nice To Haves

• Angular framework experience is a bonus
• Experience using AI tools responsibly across the software development lifecycle is a bonus

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance AdaptX’s codebase and user experience
• Deliver clean maintainable code with adequate unit tests
• Resolve technical issues through research and creativity
• Evolve the AdaptX user experience for all users
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure software designs meet requirements
• Work closely with product management to design and define feature requirements
• Work collaboratively with other team members
• Document work appropriately
