About The Position
The Photos team at Apple builds best-in-class features for the iPhone camera, leveraging the flawless integration of software and hardware to create magical experiences like Cinematic HDR video, Portrait Mode, and the new Clean Up experience. The team focuses on developing new user experiences that incorporate computer vision and machine learning-based image processing. This role is for a talented, enthusiastic UI software engineer to join the Photos Edit team, contributing to the next generation of image- and video-editing features within the Photos ecosystem. These features impact millions of customers, and the team collaborates closely with design, computer vision, and machine learning technologies to deliver innovative products.
Requirements
- Proven programming fundamentals and knowledge of object-oriented programming
- Experience building projects using Objective-C or Swift, and iOS or macOS SDKs
- Good sense of UI design and a passion to focus on every detail, large and small
- Excels at solving and debugging hard problems
Nice To Haves
- Experience in API design and maintenance
- Experience in crafting custom UI components
