UI Developer in Pittsburgh, PA, for our direct client
About The Position
Indotronix is seeking a UI Developer for their direct client in Pittsburgh, PA. This is a 9-month contract-to-hire position requiring 5 days a week onsite presence. The role involves working within an Agile team environment, emphasizing communication and collaboration. The developer will be responsible for building reusable UI components, modifying existing software for improvements, designing and developing software systems, and consulting with engineering staff on hardware/software interfaces and performance requirements. Additionally, the role includes developing and directing software system testing and validation procedures.
Requirements
- Expertise in Frontend & Microapp Development
- Angular/Typescript
- Collaborative Interface Design Tool (ex: Figma)
- Building/maintaining reusable UI components
- Building/maintaining Design Systems
- Storybook
- Experience generating clear documentation of components for development use
- Bitbucket
- Jenkins and CI/CD Pipeline use and maintenance
- Web Accessibility (A11y)
Nice To Haves
- Experience working between teams

- Great Collaboration skills/team player
- Financial services background, a plus.
Responsibilities
- Build UI components for use by other developers through a library.
- Modify existing software to correct errors, to adapt it to new hardware or to upgrade interfaces and improve performance.
- Design and develop software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design.
- Consult with engineering staff to evaluate the interface between hardware and software, develop specifications and performance requirements and resolve customer problems.
- Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures.
