UI Design Associate
About The Position
At Kyndryl, we design, build, manage and modernize the mission-critical technology systems that the world depends on every day. As a User Interface Designer, you will shape how people experience digital products by designing clear, intuitive, and visually cohesive interfaces. You will focus on how users move through screens and how visual and interactive elements support that movement. Your work will translate product intent and user needs into tangible interface designs that are usable, accessible, and consistent across platforms. You will balance independent design execution with close collaboration across design and delivery teams to bring interfaces from concept through implementation.
Requirements
- Experience designing user interfaces for web or digital applications
- Strong understanding of visual hierarchy, layout, typography, color, and interaction design
- Ability to design at the skeleton and surface levels of the experience
- Proficiency with industry standard design and prototyping tools
- Experience applying and contributing to design systems and component libraries
- Ability to translate requirements into clear, production ready interface designs
- Experience collaborating with cross functional teams in a product or delivery environment
Nice To Haves
- Experience designing for accessibility and inclusive design standards
- Familiarity with usability testing and incorporating findings into interface design
- Experience working closely with front end engineers during implementation
- Exposure to enterprise or complex digital products
