About The Position

As a UI Artist on Dead by Daylight, you will contribute to the creation of clear, readable, and visually compelling user interfaces for a live game enjoyed by millions of players. With a strong focus on iconography and interface layouts, you will collaborate closely with game design, tech, and art teams to deliver intuitive and efficient player experiences. Requirements

  • Solid experience in UI art with a strong illustration background, particularly in icon design.
  • A portfolio showcasing UI layout design and icon illustration (icons featuring characters or people are a plus).
  • Expert-level proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and strong knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Familiarity with Unreal Engine or a similar UI system.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working on a live game is considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of basic motion design or UI animation are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Create and illustrate UI assets, with a strong focus on icons and interface layouts.
  • Design and iterate on UI layouts that enhance clarity, usability, and player immersion.
  • Integrate UI assets into the game using our in-house engine based on Unreal Engine.
  • Collaborate closely with game designers, programmers, and artists to align UI with gameplay and technical constraints.
  • Support the evolution of UI systems for a live game environment through updates and new content.
  • Ensure visual consistency and quality across all UI elements.
