About The Position

The UH-60 Foreman manages aviation maintenance and repair services, as well as developmental and operational test and evaluation support, to include testing of aircraft, aviation systems and associated support equipment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 12 years verifiable experience working within the Army or Armed forces equivalent system with verifiable leadership experience.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance.

  • Advanced knowledge of the Army Aviation Maintenance program.
  • Exceptional knowledge in all areas of aviation, specifically quality control; production control, back shops, maintenance, logistics management, database administration, and safety.
  • Experience overseeing the diagnoses, troubleshooting and repair malfunctions in the armament, electrical and avionics systems and components of UH-60 including solid state and transistorized subsystems according to pertinent technical manuals, directives and safety procedures.
  • Experience performing maintenance, authorized modifications and alignment on aircraft weapons components, fire control units, sighting elements, electronic, mechanical devices and avionics equipment for test.
  • Experience with scheduled maintenance management procedures, work order tracking and filing, maintenance man hour estimates, phase, progressive phase maintenance procedures, and ACN.

Responsibilities

  • Manages aviation maintenance and repair services.
  • Provides developmental and operational test and evaluation support.
  • Tests aircraft, aviation systems, and associated support equipment.
  • Oversees the diagnoses, troubleshooting and repair of malfunctions in the armament, electrical and avionics systems and components of UH-60.
  • Performs maintenance, authorized modifications and alignment on aircraft weapons components, fire control units, sighting elements, electronic, mechanical devices and avionics equipment for test.
  • Manages scheduled maintenance management procedures, work order tracking and filing, maintenance man hour estimates, phase, progressive phase maintenance procedures, and ACN.
  • Ensures organizational/intermediate level maintenance is performed.
  • Oversees quality control, production control, back shops, maintenance, logistics management, database administration, and safety.
  • Acts as a dedicated self-starter.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
