Won't you join us? UF College of Medicine is seeking to hire a Comprehensive Otolaryngologist to join UF Health at Halifax Health in Daytona Beach, Florida. In this role, you will provide comprehensive medical and surgical care for adult and pediatric patients with disorders of the ear, nose, throat, head and neck at UF Health Halifax Health. You will perform a broad range of ENT surgical procedures, conduct outpatient evaluations and office-based interventions, and develop evidence-based treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Responsibilities also include patient and family education, accurate clinical documentation, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care. As part of the Otolaryngology service at UF Health Halifax Health, you will participate in the inpatient and emergency call rotation, providing timely evaluation and treatment of acute ENT conditions. This position also supports the academic mission of the University of Florida College of Medicine and UF Health through teaching and mentoring advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and learners. Additional responsibilities include participating in department educational activities, case conferences, grand rounds, continuing medical education programs, and interdisciplinary initiatives that promote professional development and exceptional patient care.

Requirements

  • Licensed to practice medicine in accordance with Chapter 458, Florida Statutes plus four years of appropriate experience. Completion of a residency program may substitute for the required experience.
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Federal DEA Certification.
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program in Otolaryngology- Head & Neck Surgery.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery (ABOHNS).

  • Demonstrated experience in comprehensive adult and pediatric otolaryngology practice.
  • Evidence of excellence in clinical care, surgical outcomes, and patient satisfaction.
  • Experience teaching medical students, APP's, nursing staff, or other healthcare learners.
  • Commitment to multidisciplinary collaboration and patient-centered care.
  • Demonstrated participation in quality improvement, program development, clinical research, or scholarly activities.
