About The Position

FirstHealth of the Carolinas is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to provide float coverage at our Convenient Care Clinics. This role offers dependable work hours and a great work-life balance, with three 12-hour shifts per week, including some weekends and holidays. Our clinics are open 7 days a week from 8 am to 8 pm, with all locations within 45 minutes of Pinehurst, NC. Imaging and diagnostic testing are available on-site.

Requirements

• Graduate of an AMA approved Physician Assistant program and NCCPA certification (for PAs).
• Graduate of a nurse practitioner education program and national certification (for NPs).
• Minimum 3 years of APP experience required.
• Clean background.
• NC licensure.
• NC DEA.
• DOT certification.
• AHA BLS certification required.

Nice To Haves

• Prior Occupational Health experience preferred.
• Background in workers comp.
• Experience conducting veteran exams and/or NC disability exams.
• ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide coverage at Convenient Care Clinics.
• Practice autonomously with minimal oversight from the supervising physician.
• Conduct veteran exams and/or NC disability exams (preferred).
