About The Position
The UBMS Tutor - English assists high school students in gaining a better understanding of English area course content and helps develop learning skills to enhance the students’ academic experience.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in progress or completed and overall cumulative GPA of 3.25 or better and received a “B” or better in English.
- Must pass a background check.
Responsibilities
- Assist students with understanding assignments and concepts in a specialized subject area.
- Assist students with academic applications of Microsoft Office programs, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Assist students with navigating MCC systems and software.
- Assist with other general UBMS Tutoring tasks as assigned.
- Attend work activities or programs as scheduled or assigned.
