About The Position

Run a variety of pieces of equipment, including Through Hole, Coating/Potting manufacturing processes as well as functional test, and inspection of assemblies built with these processes.

Requirements

Able to read and comprehend instructions.
Able to effectively present information in one on one and small group situations including customers and other employees.
Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
Able to stand, walk, talk and hear.
Stoop, kneel, & crouch.
Frequently lift and or move 10 pounds, and occasionally lift and or move 50 pounds.
Vision Requirements: close vision, distance vision, color vision, ability to adjust focus.
Operate windows & OS2 computers.
Legal authorization to work in the US required.
Will not consider candidates who need sponsorship, now or in the future, to be legally employed in the US.
No H1B, OPT, CPT or other “temporary work authorization” candidates will be considered.

Nice To Haves

Acquire certification in IPC 610 or equivalent quality standard and demonstrate the ability to perform operations at those standards.

Responsibilities

Crossed trained and able to perform regular rotations on a variety of equipment throughout the department.
Performs basic equipment set-up, verifying that correct parts are in the machine, and that all parts are being placed with in specified tolerances.
Maintains metrics for equipment utilization and other documentation.
Maintains a sense of urgency while being safety minded and using equipment in a safe manner.
Ensures quality product is produced.
Works in a team environment.
Flexible with work schedule and assignment to meet demand and or schedule.
Other duties as required.
