About The Position

The UAV Avionics Assembler III is a senior contributor responsible for complex, high-reliability assemblies and production problem-solving. The role includes responsibilities associated with lower assembler levels and involves working closely with engineers, production technicians, and operations teams to support multiple programs and value streams. The assembler builds complex avionics assemblies and high-density wiring harnesses, supports first-article, prototype, and low-rate initial production builds, and helps resolve ambiguous documentation with engineering. The position also performs detailed inspections and advanced testing, supports workmanship root-cause investigations, mentors junior assemblers, and provides feedback on manufacturability and process improvements. The role also includes assembling avionics components and wiring harnesses from drawings and schematics; performing wire terminations, connector installations, and harness routing; conducting continuity checks and functional testing; documenting work and material traceability in MES; and following applicable quality, safety, ESD, and FOD procedures.
